It’s literally been with us since forever. So, to make a new luscious recipe out of our old friend (sweet potato) we have brought this amazing recipe, just for you and with a healthy twist. Ingredients
- Sweet potatoes – 2 (large) boiled and peeled
- Black pepper – ½ teaspoon
- Cumin – ½ teaspoon (grounded)
- Cayenne pepper – ½ teaspoon
- Red capsicum – ½ cup (chopped)
- Yellow capsicum – ½ cup (chopped)
- Spinach – ½ cup (chopped)
- Indian gooseberry/Amla – 1 (grated)
- Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
- Sauerkraut – 1 tablespoon
- Dulse – ½ tablespoon
- Nutritional yeast – 1 tablespoon
- Salt – ½ tablespoon (according to your taste)
Preparation time: 10-15 minutes
Instructions
This recipe is quite easy to make and the best thing is all the ingredients are very basic and easily available. So, to enjoy this healthy chaat you just have to follow some basic steps, and bingo! It’s ready!!!
- Take sweet potatoes and boil them.
- Peel off the skin and mash the sweet potatoes
- Take a bowl and mix mashed sweet potatoes with black pepper, grounded cumin, and cayenne pepper
- Mix it properly
- Make a square with mashed sweet potatoes
- And cut the square into small cube shapes
- Air fry cubes for 10 minutes and set the temperature at 180 degrees Celsius
- Now, chop the red and yellow capsicum lengthwise
- Chop some spinach
- Take a bowl and mix chopped red and yellow capsicum with spinach and air-fried sweet potato cubes
- Now add grated Indian gooseberry, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, sauerkraut and dulse
- Add salt according to your taste
- Mix everything nicely together
- Ta-da, it’s done
- Serve and enjoy
