Ingredients
- Oil – ½ teaspoon
- Onion – ½ (finely chopped)
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- Ginger – ½ teaspoon (grated)
- Garlic – ½ teaspoon (crushed)
- Beetroot – 1 cup (unpeeled, chopped)
- Carrot – 1 cup (unpeeled, chopped)
- Water – 2 cups
- Chlorophyll powder – 1 teaspoon
- Kasuri methi/Dried Fenugreek leaves – 1 teaspoon (for garnish)
Preparation time: 15 – 20 minutes
Instructions
Making this beetroot soup is very easy and all you require is a few ingredients and a few instructions as we want you to make this perfectly. So let’s rustle up our soup.
- Take a pan and add some oil to it
- Now add onion, ginger, and garlic
- Add one teaspoon of salt
- Sautee it
- Add chopped beetroot and carrot
- Add salt and mix everything
- Add water and cover it with the lid
- Let it boil for 6-7 minutes
- Now remove the lid and check whether the beetroot and carrots are softened or not
- Let it cool down a bit
- Blend this mixture into a fine puree
- Add chlorophyll powder and mix it
- Top it with some Kasuri methi
- Your beetroot soup is ready to be served
