- Red chilli powder – ½ teaspoon

- Tamarind syrup – 1 tablespoon
- Ginger – garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
- Arbi patta (Colocasia leaf) – 4 leaves
- Oil – 1 tablespoon
- Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
- Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds – 2 teaspoon
- Asafoetida (Heeng) – ¼ teaspoon
- Curry leaves – 8 to 10

Instructions

- First, take a mixing bowl
- Add chickpea flour to it
- Mix salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and jaggery powder
- Now, add tamarind syrup for a tangy taste
- Add ginger garlic paste to it
- Now mix everything well
- You can use a little water to make a smooth paste
- Make sure the paste is neither too thin nor too thick
- Now spread the paste evenly over leaves
- Prepare four such leaves
- Now, place them one over another facing opposite direction
- Largest leaf should be at bottom
- Gently roll the leaves together
- Steam these rolls for 10 minutes
- Let them cool down
- Cut the roll into 10-12 circular pieces
- Now, we will work on tempering
- Heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon oil to it
- Now add cumin and mustard seeds
- Add sesame and astefoidea to bring rich flavour
- Let the spices splutter
- Now spread the spices evenly over the pan
- Now place aloo patra over it and toast them
- Toast on both sides till they turn golden brown
- Your snack is ready to serve
